KonKnueppel

Preseason question: Just how great can Knueppel’s shooting get? Let’s start here. This dude just logged the best 3-point shooting season we’ve ever seen from a rookie, and it’s not close. By making over 42 percent of his nearly eight 3-point attempts per contest, Knueppel single-handedly helped Charlotte develop a new, high-volume offensive identity. So how does he follow that? Knueppel is entering the season with hamstring issues, and considering the departure of LaMelo Ball, his second season will unfold within an uncertain offensive environment. Still, I’m optimistic that Hornets head coach Charles Lee will find ways to feature the best young shooter in the game early and often this season, and Knueppel could make the most 3s in the entire league.
