Bell is a well-built, playmaking X receiver with the size and runaway speed to separate from defenders and create explosive plays. A three-year starter for the Cardinals, he reeled in 72 catches for 917 yards and six touchdowns in 2025 before a late-year ACL tear cut his season short. He’s a versatile pass catcher who saw snaps from all over the formation, lining up primarily on the outside while seeing plenty of reps from the slot and even a few from the backfield. Bell brings the footwork, quickness, and physicality to get off the line and into his route. He excels when isolated on the outside, beating defenders on in-breaking routes while using his body to shield them away from that ball. He knows how to use his size and strength to free himself from tight coverage and separate late in his route. He lacks twitchy speed in the short area, but blows by defenders on deep crossing routes, showing a talent for tracking the ball over his shoulder. He’s effective on out-routes and comebacks, sinking his hips to gear down and change direction quickly. He shows courage reaching out for passes over the middle, knowing he’s going to get hit, and has strong hands to pluck the ball away from his frame. He notched very low drop rates over the last two seasons (4.0 percent and 8.5 percent, respectively, per PFF). He’s big and tough to bring down and shows the burst to accelerate away from the defense after the catch.
Bell tore his ACL in November, which could impact the start of his rookie season. He has a limited route tree and still needs to develop more nuance as a route runner. He relies more on physicality and speed than precision footwork. He’ll occasionally allow himself to get slowed up at his route-stem, throwing off the timing and location of his route.
