Moore is a strapping, rugged edge rusher who wins with power at the point of attack, pairing his active hands with pistonlike feet to overwhelm opponents. A productive three-year contributor for the Wolverines, he racked up 10 sacks and 10.5 tackles for loss in 2025, adding 41 pressures, three pass deflections, and two forced fumbles on the year. He was ridiculously effective when asked to pin his ears back and get after the passer, finishing last season with a 36 percent win rate in true pass rush situations, per PFF, which ranked 10th among edge players with 100 pass rush reps. Moore brings solid burst off the line and converts speed to power, quickly getting underneath the tackle’s pads to forklift him into the quarterback’s lap. He churns his feet relentlessly to gain and keep the initiative. He has a nice inside countermove, using lateral quickness to cross his opponent’s face and beat him into the pocket. He uses chops and rips to free himself from the grip of opponents. In the run game, Moore plays with good strength to combat blocks, striking to the chest of tackles to stack them and set the edge. He shows good range in run support, stringing a play out to the sideline. And he has a big tackle radius. He missed just three tackles in 2025.
Moore needs to develop a broader array of pass rush moves and rely less on his bull rush. He can get hung up on blocks and is too easily harried on his way to the quarterback. He could stand to up his intensity when defending the run, and he doesn’t always play to his size and strength in the run game. There are times when he loses sight of the ballcarrier and loses his gap integrity.
