Got ThatDog in Him
There are not a lot of dudes on the planet who possess the combination of size and movement skills that Proctor brings to the table. A former five-star recruit, he has a massive build, tree-trunk legs, a wide torso, and very long arms. He was a three-year starter for the Crimson Tide and logged 2,408 snaps at left tackle during his college career. He blocks with surprising quickness for a man his size and is able to recover against the bull rush, regain his feet, and drop an anchor. He has heavy vise-grip hands, and when he gets you in his grasp, it’s hard to escape. He allowed just two sacks on 610 pass blocking snaps in 2025. In the run game, he has bulldozer power and uproots and carries opposing linemen out of the play, and he also flashed enough foot quickness to reach and seal off the backside of a run.
There were times when Proctor’s size was an issue. He struggles with speed off the edge and reverts to leaning and holding when he loses a step on the rusher. He overcompensates and oversets, opening himself up to interior countermoves. He blocks rushers for an initial few seconds but can then struggle to sustain blocks, allowing hustle sacks and second-effort rushes to get into the pocket. Teams may view him as a guard at the next level, where his size and power can take over in smaller spaces.
