Iheanachor is still just getting his feet wet in football, but brings an uncommon combination of size, length, and athleticism at right tackle that could help him find the field early in his NFL career. A two-year starter for Arizona State, the native of Nigeria arrived in Tempe after taking up football and playing two seasons at East Los Angeles College (JUCO). He boasts a big, broad-shouldered frame and his experience playing soccer and basketball growing up shows on the field. He’s an athletic mover who blocks with a wide, balanced base in pass protection. He does a good job to stay square against pass rushers and keeps his feet moving through contact. He brings a strong punch to the outside shoulder and keeps opponents off his frame, maintaining his grip throughout the snap. Iheanachor flashes the ability to dig his heels in to drop anchor against a bullrush, and gave up zero sacks on 484 pass-blocking snaps in 2025, per PFF. In the run game, he’s a feisty competitor who blocks with an aggressive style. He’s nimble on pulls and shows smooth footwork on zone blocks, covering a lot of ground when he needs to get moving. He shows excellent lateral agility to reach and seal opponents on the backside of the play.
Iheanachor is raw and lacks experience at the position. He plays high and loses his leverage early in the rep. There are times he can lose a step to the high side and resort to holding his opponent. He’s still inconsistent with his punch, which occasionally lands outside and opens him up to the bullrush. He can come in too hot in the run game, and get caught leaning and lunging and falling off the block.
