‘The Pitt’ Series Premiere: ‘ER’ Is (Kind of) Back!

Joanna Robinson and Rob Mahoney work the overnight shift at the emergency room to recap the two-episode premiere of The Pitt, the Max original series from much of the creative team behind ER. They discuss it as a spiritual successor to the popular ’90s drama, their relationship with the medical procedural genre, and how its high-concept premise is executed (1:35).
