The Ringer MMA Show
The Leon Edwards–Belal Muhammad Rivalry, Paddy Pimblett Opens Up, and the Murky Stakes for Tom Aspinall Vs. Curtis Blaydes | UFC 304 Preview
About the episode
Reporting from the ground in Manchester, England, 48 hours before UFC 304, Petesy Carroll is joined by Chuck Mindenhall and Troy Farkas to preview what could potentially be the biggest night in U.K. MMA history. To celebrate the momentous occasion, the guys begin the show by reacting to today’s UFC 304 press conference. Then, they talk about the strange dynamic between Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad this week, and how the guys expect that to play out during the fight Saturday night. Then, they talk about Dana White’s promise that the winner of Tom Aspinall vs. Curtis Blaydes will face the winner of Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic, and whether they think White will deliver on his promise—especially as Alex Pereira entertains a move-up in weight class. The lads later dive into the feature bout of the night, King Green vs. Paddy Pimblett, and discuss Pimblett’s openness regarding his mental struggles. And after briefly running through some of the other tasty matchups on the card, the guys finish by answering some thoughtful Discord questions. Then, Ariel Helwani gives some quick thoughts on UFC 304 from his palatial estate in Paris, the site of this year’s Olympics.
