The Player
Baugh is a patient, powerful runner with the foot speed to sift through traffic between the tackles. He follows his blocks, sticks his foot in the ground, and accelerates upfield with good pad level and forward lean. He can push the pile when there isn’t a seam and make defenders miss or break tackles when things break down up front.
He flashes a powerful stiff arm and is tough to tackle in space, lowering his shoulder and consistently falling forward at the end of his runs. He’s quick for his size and can turn the corner on perimeter runs. While he may not have elite top-end speed, he’s fast enough to generate chunk plays when he finds a crease. His 228-pound frame is also built to handle a heavy workload. He didn’t fumble in 2025.
Baugh adds significant value in the passing game. He’s a reliable receiver with good hand-eye coordination, tracks the ball well, and can make contested catches. He’s a threat to generate chunk yards after the catch and run by linebackers vertically. He also flashes as a route runner and logged snaps out wide and in the slot in 2025.
He’s reliable in pass protection, locating assignments, stepping up to meet defenders, and holding his ground. Baugh can clean up when an offensive lineman gets beaten and can effectively chip defenders.
A true junior, Baugh played all 25 games over his first two seasons, rushing for 1,843 yards and 15 touchdowns. He earned SEC All-Freshman honors in 2024 and second-team All-SEC honors in 2025. A versatile former two-way player with experience at running back, quarterback, receiver, and defensive back, Baugh brings an impressive combination of size, power, versatility, and passing-game value. Le’Veon Bell is a good comp for him.
