The Player
Moore is a playmaker with strong tape and outstanding potential. His frame, length, and speed make him an effective press corner who can get his hands on receivers and disrupt releases. He doesn’t panic with his back to the quarterback, and he’s able to turn his head and locate the ball when running vertically. He reads the quarterback and closes well when breaking on passes in off and zone coverage. Moore can run underneath receivers and use his length to reach in and break up passes on crossing and breaking routes.
He’s a natural pass catcher with excellent hand-eye coordination, tracking ability, and timing. His wide wingspan gives him an excellent playmaking radius. He led Notre Dame with five interceptions in 2025, tied for seventh in the country, after recording two interceptions and a team-high 11 pass breakups in 2024.
There are some areas for him to clean up. Moore can be overaggressive and bite on double moves, gets grabby at times, and would benefit from filling out his frame. Bigger, stronger receivers can create separation at the top of routes.
In run support, Moore doesn’t shy away from contact. He fights to get off blocks, drives through contact, and uses his length to wrap up in space while limiting production after the catch. However, he sometimes comes in too hot and slides off tackles. He also struggles getting bigger ballcarriers down and occasionally gets stuck on blocks.
A consensus All-American, Moore has already established himself as one of college football’s premier defensive backs. He missed two games in 2025 but brings an impressive combination of production, physical tools, and outstanding potential.
