CarsonBeck
Experienced, rhythm-passing signal caller who is comfortable moving in the pocket and quickly working through his progressions.

Beck is a tall, battled-tested passer with a good-sized frame and the traits to develop more consistency with his decision-making and accuracy. A highly experienced three-year starter with 43 career starts, he transferred to Miami in 2025 after five seasons at Georgia and helped lead the Hurricanes to a national championship game berth. He’s most comfortable when he plays in rhythm, and with his feet set he can whip the ball downfield or layer passes over the middle. He has experience under center and with play-action concepts. He works through his progressions to come to the backside of the play. He brings functional pocket movement, sliding and resetting his feet while keeping his eyes downfield. He shows the ability to buy himself more time and keep the play alive. He’s not a dual-threat quarterback but he’s athletic enough to pick up a first down with his legs when the opportunity presents itself.
Beck’s decision-making under pressure is inconsistent, and there are times he seems to pre-determine throws. He doesn’t always appear to see the whole picture and will lead receivers into big hits over the middle. His ball placement on short throws is all over the place and he fails to give his receivers the best chance to run after the catch. There are times he puts way too much air under the ball on deep shots. He is too willing to put the ball in harm’s way, with 30 picks across the last three seasons. He had UCL surgery in 2024.
