Miller is a tough and steadfast defensive lineman who brings fight to the offensive line, using a powerful punch and high-intensity attack to stymie the opposing rush. A two-year starter for the Bulldogs, he’s a quick-footed big man with excellent balance who plays with knock-back power in his hands, frequently putting offensive linemen on their heels from the jump. He stays active throughout the rush, working his punch to set and reset his hands and keep opponents off-balance and unable to latch on. He keeps his feet moving through contact and is able to string runs out to the outside. He stacks opponents using long-arm stabs at the point of attack, holds his ground, and keeps his eyes in the backfield before shedding the block to make the tackle. He resets the line of scrimmage and forces the running back to change his rush track. He flashes an effective swim move to discard blocks and work his way into the pocket, and he hustles well to finish the play. 

Miller is primarily an early-down run defender at this point and still needs to develop a better plan as a pass rusher. He could stand to add some moves to his pass rush repertoire. There are times when his anchor fails and he allows himself to be run or washed out of the play. He needs to show better awareness on screens. He can get caught leaning too much and end up out over his skis. He may need to add some bulk to play on the nose and better absorb double-teams at the next level.
