Igbinosun is a tall, slim cornerback prospect with quick feet and a hyperaggressive demeanor. He transferred to Ohio State in 2023 after a season at Ole Miss, and he was a three-year starter for the Buckeyes. He primarily played outside but saw some snaps in the slot as well. He’s highly experienced and battle-tested, with 53 career starts. He’s a nimble-footed athlete who plays with good balance and excellent burst when he makes drives on the ball. He triggers quickly to close on passes underneath and accelerates explosively to close the gap. He has a record of quality ball production, with four picks and 19 pass breakups in his career. Igbinosun loves to play physically at the line, slowing receivers down as they get into their routes. He expertly mirrors a receiver’s release, showing an ability to flip his hips and stick close to his opponent. He anticipates well in coverage and gets a jump on routes, at times running receivers’ routes before they do. He gets his hands into passing lanes and smothers receivers at the catch point, making it hard on pass catchers to reel the ball in. He gave up zero touchdowns in 2025. Against the run, he works hard to get off his blocks and is not afraid to mix it up as a tackler. He flies downhill, stays low, and gets a hit.
Igbinosun is very handsy and overly physical. He’s way too obvious when initiating contact in coverage and needs to learn how to be more subtle. He’ll shove and bear-hug receivers at the catch point or push them out of bounds down the field. He gets up into opponents and face guards them rather than looking back for the ball. He was flagged 30 times in his career. He’s tall and high-cut, and at times he looks clunky when transitioning from a backpedal to a drive on the ball.
