InstinctualPlaymaking
Price is a big-play back with an instinct to set up his blocks and see where the defense is flowing before cutting quickly to find a crease. A three-year contributor for the Fighting Irish who played in a committee with Jeremiyah Love over the past two seasons, he’s tough when running inside and flashes physicality to finish runs or move the pile in short yardage. He runs with excellent vision and follows his blocks patiently, letting run lanes open up before decisively cutting to daylight or bouncing to the outside. He shows the lateral agility to gather his feet and juke to get himself out of trouble when a defender is squaring him up. He has the juice to beat pursuit angles on outside runs and get to the corner for the big play. He shows some understanding of positioning in pass protection, identifying the blitzer and to meet them in the hole and buy his quarterback some time. He adds kick return value as well, with 12 returns for 450 yards and two touchdowns in 2025 and three return touchdowns in his career.
Price primarily operated as an early-down back at Notre Dame and has very little receiving production on his résumé, with just 15 catches over three seasons. He was never a high-volume back in college and may be viewed as only a committee back. He fumbled three times in 2025, losing two of them. He tore his Achilles his freshman year (2022), so durability could be a concern for some teams.
